When you transfer your domain to AtService it will take 1-7days for the domain transfer to complete. During this time your webiste and email will still function through your previous hosting. Your previous host will need to accept the transfer on their end. Once this process has completed your domain will be pointed at your new AtService hosting. These changes take 20hours -2days to become effective everywhere on the internet. This is known as propagation.
After you make your domain transfer order you can provide us with credentials for your current hosting account and we'll handle the transfer process for you.
You will generally not notice any downtime after you've transferred your domain to AtService. As the changes to your hosting propagate some people will see the site on your previous host and some will see your site on your AtService Hosting. This change generally only lasts a few hours. And no email will be lost although some email can potentially be delayed for up to a 1day.
